Pointless

Hi,

You are probably wondering why I'm writting a blog...in english? Three reasons to be simple:

  1. I only have an English keyboard so that definitly put out of the questions French or any languages that uses special signs.
  2. I have absolutly no interest in working in a french company or as a matter of fact in France ( so overrated), i'll probably get back to that later on..or not!
  3. And last but not least you'll have like more than a hundred students writting their hearts out a blog in French. So here I am making a stand.

You are wondering who I am, why haven't I presented myself yet? Is that really necessary, I already have a big ego so no need to polish that even more. I'd rather write about what's on my mind.

Change is going to come......

Fate is without a sense of irony, an offspring of slavery becoming President of the United-State. The entire world watching as history is been made, almost everyone rooting for Obama, in France 98% would have voted for Obama, yet we tend to forget that Bordeaux and Nante were part of the golden triangle, where slavery actually started because those two places sent those slaves to America. Now that a black man is the President of the USA, change is going to come, or supposedly. People all over the world are seeing this as sign of hope, people are believing, but will he be able to actually deliver? Time will tell...For the moment let's just enjoy the fact that an Afro-American was praised and chosen in something a lot more special and significant than sport.

In pursuit of a placement

Couples of weeks ago I was in Hong-Kong prospecting for a work placement, as you recall I have absolutly no interest in working in France, you might ask why? but I don't feel the need to justify myself. Anyway, it was my first trip to Hong-Kong, i absolutly loved it! It has the same vibe as New-York city and it is a beautiful city, beaches, hills, nightlife, shopping mall and friendly people. This made up my mind i am going there for my 6 month placement. I had several contact and I am only waiting for the paperworks. If Hong-Kong doesn't happened then I still have some leads in Singapore and Thailand.

Anyway i'll keep you in touch as soon as I have the paperworks done.

CV

Hi,
Yes I know I have not specified what I want it to do later, where and in which field I would love to work. To be blunt I don't need a blog for me to find work, talking about headhunter? Yes those guy will only come at your door if you have already proven yourself on the market and not by doing a nice blog. No offense but I am only doing this blog because I was ask to do it. I will try to keep it up to date until I get my placement, after that is good bye and good luck. We all have our own life, no need to be reading someone else's life.
Cheers,
PS: Here's my CV_anglais_2_

Interview

Tuesday the 11th of november, GMT+7, i have a phone interview with someone in charge of recruiting interns that are willing to work abroad. Hopefully everything will be going according to plan, so no worries, actually my only worry will be my mobile phone bill. I don't know how long the interview will last but i sure as hell know that international call is really expensive.

Me, Myself and I...

I am a student in a business school in Bordeaux, France. The school's name is INSEEC, and I am really happy to be in that school. This will help me get a decent diploma in order to pursue an international career. Thanks to my father's carreer I was able to travel around the world, mostly in Asia, Singapore for 7 years, Tokyo, Shanghai, Hong-kong and those are only the places where we lived, and I am not going to start naming all the places I have been. If you look at my CV you will see that all my professional experiences comes from internship in Asia.
My major is International Business Strategy, quite the fancy name right? But I am sure you have no clue as to what it is. To make it simple this is actually to help us being international manager. Being able to understand and adapt our management style to the different way of lives that this world has to offer.
In the end what and where would I like to work? I have absolutly no clue, the only thing that I am looking at is my paycheck. Until i find something i really like, the only thing that will matter to me is money. Do people really like to work, is what you do more important than money? That is just people lying to themselves. People work because we have to work everything evolves around money whether we like it or not. You want a place to live you have to pay for it, you want to eat you have to pay for it. why make plans to far ahead when you don't even know what tommorow has in store for you.
Don't misunderstand that as me being lazy or something else, because like I say, money is what I am looking for the most. And as I recall to make a decent living you have to work hard and efficiently. Who said that you had to love working to be a successful?
